Disney's Electrical Parade is at the park during busy times! The entertainment schedule at Disney's California Adventure was hot as a fire cracker this past summer! Not only has the brand new Pixar Play parade been performing every afternoon, but also the nighttime Disney's Electrical Parade has been shown on selected evenings. This is a long-time favorite parade that's a HUGE crowd-pleaser at DCA!Now that summer's drawing to an end, Disney's Electrical Parade will be taken off the schedule. But, it will return during the next "busy season" at the park! Be sure to catch Disney's Electrical Parade by August 31st because that's the last evening it will appear for awhile. High School Musical parade! The California Adventure Park's schedule is primed up for parade and entertainment-lovers this year. The fun doesn't even stop with two spectacular parades---there are THREE! The popular High School Musical parade is now a regular part of the action at Disney's California Adventure. This interactive parade which draws young guests into the action has been performed on selected dates for the entire Summer 2008 season at DCA. It will continue to be performed every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September, 2008. Still another live show is performed at DCA---the fun show for preschoolers, called Disney Playhouse Live. If it's been awhile since you viewed Disney's Playhouse, it's time to catch it again. The show was revamped during Spring 2008, and now features new action and characters! If you have favorite shows at Disney's California Adventure Park, grab your chance during the last days of August, 2008 to go see them! After August 31st, the Disney Electrical Parade will be off the schedule until the next busy season at the park. And, after Labor Day, the Aladdin Musical will not be shown for the rest of the month of September!Here is the DCA Park's entertainment schedule for the remaining days of August: Monday, August 25 & Tuesday, August 26: Pixar Play Parade @ 5:15 pm and Playhouse Disney, 6 shows. These are the only major entertainment offerings on these 2 days at Disney's California Adventure Park. Wednesday, August 27 & Thursday, August 28: Pixar Play Parade @ 5:15 pm; Aladdin Musical Spectacular at 12:10, 1:50 pm, & 4:15 pm; Playhouse Disney, 6 shows Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August 29, 30, 31: Full entertainment schedule at Disney's California Adventure Park! The Aladdin Musical will have 4 show times---at 12:10, 1:50 pm, & 4:15 pm and 5:50 pm. The High School Musical 2 parade will be performed at 11:30 am, 1 pm and at 3:15 pm. There will be 6 performances of Playhouse Disney throughout the morning and afternoon. The fun new Pixar Play Parade will be held at 5:15 pm. September is NOT the month that entertainment-lovers have been looking forward to at Disney's California Adventure park! Summer vacationers go home and the theme park's attendance numbers drop. And, along with slower times, comes a less-busy entertainment schedule.Still, there will be plenty of fun at Disney's California Adventure to keep you busy. Especially if you haven't yet seen the adorable Pixar Play Parade, you can still enthusiastically look forward to the entertainment you'll enjoy on your September park visit. Here's the schedule of entertainment; it's a simple one. 1.) Monday, September 1: the Labor Day entertainment schedule at Disney's California Adventure includes the last performances of the Aladdin Musical for the entire month of September, 2008. Labor Day show times are 12:10, 1:50 pm, & 4:15 pm and 5:50 pm. The Pixar Play Parade will run at 5:15 pm. And 6 performances of the Disney Playhouse Live will take place during the morning and afternoon. 2.) Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: The weekday schedule of parades and entertainment in September centers around the popular Pixar Play Parade, which will be held daily at 5:15 pm. Playhouse Disney Live holds 6 performances daily. 3.) Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: Every weekend in September, 2008, the Pixar Play Parade will continue to be held daily at 5:15 pm. The Playhouse Disney Live will hold 6 performances daily. Plus, in addition, The High School Musical parade will hold 3 performances each weekend day.

Still more entertainment: For Summer 2008, "Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular," a Broadway-style musical, has thrilled audiences and played 5 days a week to a packed house. Be sure to watch the Aladdin Musical by Labor Day (September 1st,) because the Hyperion Theater will be closed---and the Aladdin show along with it---the entire rest of September.
