Tourists to Southern California almost ALWAYS visit more than one attraction while on vacation. The attraction-owners know this, and they want you to visit THEIR attraction. Their biggest problem is that Southern California is FULL of attractions! Whether visitors are looking to enjoy a theme park, a museum, a family fun center, a boat tour, a zoo...or whatever their interest might be...there's always more than one option available. Southern California "Go Card" Attraction Discounts
Los Angeles Go Card saves money at theme parks, museums & more!
You won't even BELIEVE how many different Southern California attractions are members of the Los Angeles Go Card discount ticket program. The list of discount attractions is stunning. AND, it can save you money while letting you experience more of the attractions you came to California to see!
Two Southern California theme parks are members of the Los Angeles Go Cards discount program. You can get both Legoland discount tickets and Universal Studios Hollywood discount tickets through the Go Card savings plan. The Pacific Park amusement park at the end of Santa Monica Pier is also a member...and so is the family fun park, Golf N Stuff in Norwalk, CA. But amusements and theme parks aren't the only attractions covered. You may check out a list of member attractions just below on this page.
How does the Go Card discount plan work? This is a VERY flexible plan. Ten different people could get 10 different Go Cards...and each one use his or hers a different way!
*HERE'S HOW TO USE THE GO CARD'S LOS ANGELES ATTRACTIONS DISCOUNTS:
1.) Before leaving home, purchase your Go Card on-line. (Go Cards are not available at the attractions themselves...which is the biggest downfall of the Go Card discount program. You MUST "think ahead.") Choose from a 1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 day Go Card. You may visit as many attractions on the list as you can "fit" into the time period you selected. You will have 14 days in which you can complete your touring. (For example, if you bought a 5 day Go Card discount pass, you will need to get your 5 days of discount touring done within 14 days of the first time you use the card. If you're tired or the weather turns bad, simply skip a day or two of touring---no problem!)
2.) Have your Go Card mailed to your home...or, if there's not enough time before your trip, you may pick it up at the Go Card redemption center in Los Angeles.
3.) Present the Go Card instead of money at any member attraction on the list.

The 2008 Southern California CityPass
The City Pass Discount Programs...which are available for a number of different cities throughout the USA...are good multi-attraction discount coupons which saves tourists money. Southern California is lucky because it has not only one City Pass program, but TWO! These are the Southern California CityPass and the Hollywood CityPass. The Hollywood City Pass, (which focuses on attractions in Hollywood, California only) will be discussed in the next section of this page. The Southern California CityPass is an even more lively discount program which focuses its energies on theme parks and zoos...ideal for family travelers!
The Southern California CityPass 2008 program gives you the following fun---
In total, you'll enjoy 6 days of fun...and pay less than you would if you purchased your attraction tickets separately!
Where do you purchase the 2008 Southern California CityPass discount tickets? Either at the CityPass website (see the link below on this page) or at any one of the attractions where you'll be using the coupons (Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Universal Studios, SeaWorld San Diego, and the San Diego Zoo.)

*Restrictions on the Southern California CityPass---
1) The 2007 Southern California CityPass plan is available through Dec 31, 2007
2) You only have 14 days from the date you first use one of the tickets until ALL the tickets in your book expire. While tourists and visitors to Southern California won't mind the 2-week time frame in which you can use the coupons, locals may feel a little rushed by having to use up the 6 discount tickets so quickly.
3) No blackout dates apply! These discounts are good any day of the year at the Southern California theme parks participating in the City Pass discount program.
Though the CityPass program is not currently a sponsor of this website, I recommend them, nevertheless. I have used this program myself in the past, and had no problems with the plan. This is a very important theme park discount program...because it's the ONLY plan in SoCal which includes Disneyland Park...the most popular visitor attraction in the state of California. Hollywood CityPass discount tickets
The 2008 Southern California CityPass multi-park discount isn't the ONLY good offer that the CityPass company has available for the Los Angeles area. Another good savings opportunity for you is their "Hollywood" CityPass (also called the "Walk of Fame" CityPass.The price of the Hollywood CityPass is $49.95 for adults (an $89.90 value) and $39 for kids ages 3--11. As with the Southern California City Passes, you'll save over 30%, a terrific bargain (if these are attractions that you wish to see, of course!)

*The Hollywood Wax Museum (you may stay as long as you wish at this attraction)
*A 2-hour Starline Tour of Hollywood (roving through the Hollywood and Beverly Hills areas peeking at actors' homes and famous landmarks)
